ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 29. Kazakhstan is repairing the gas pipeline to ensure the necessary volume of gas transit from Russia to Central Asia, Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev said, Trend reports.
According to the official source in Kazakhstan, commenting on the transit of Russian gas through the country, the minister added that the countries of the region are connected by a single energy ring.
As per his statements, in this context we are talking about the reliability of the energy systems of the Central Asian countries.
Satkaliyev noted that the Central Asian countries have mutual redundancy and mutual electricity supplies and also added that, at the same time, Kazakhstan will profit from the transportation of Russian gas through its territory.
