In November 2006, the Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev produced 7,94 th. of oil coke, a decrease of 2,26 th. tons (-22,2%) from forecasts, Trend reports quoting State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Over the period of January-November 2006, the production volume of this kind of oil product equaled 57,37 th. tons, a decrease of 40,73 th. tons from the forecasts. Last year, the Enterprise did not produce oil coke.
Main consumers of the oil coke produced in Azerbaijan are the Russian Aluminum plants.
