The value of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Iran’s services sector (trade, restaurant, transport, communication, monetary and financial institutions, professional and private, public, and so on) amounted to 6 quadrillion rials (about $143 billion), during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the statistics, the value of GDP in the services sector increased by 6.5 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, the value of GDP in the services sector amounted to about 5.63 quadrillion rials (about $134 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
Moreover, the share of the services sector in Iran's gross domestic product was 46.3 percent in 9 months, the report said.
As reported, the value of Iran’s GDP (including crude oil) amounted to 11 quadrillion rials (about $263 billion) over the first nine months of the current Iranian year. This is an increase of 4.1 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, the figure stood at 10.6 quadrillion rials (about $253 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
