The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry will monitor the Internet market.
"We are planning to monitor in summer months," the Ministry said.
The monitoring was planned to hold together with the Economy Development Ministry, Free Consumers Union and Internet Community of Azerbaijan.
The monitoring will be completed within two months.
Previously, the Ministry conducted monitoring after the recent decline in the price of Internet access in the country. The monitoring was conducted on the basis of decision of the Board of the Ministry on the periodic monitoring of the Internet services sector. As a result of monitoring, the average price of Internet access via ADSL technology in Azerbaijan meets average prices in the region.
The Ministry said the Internet prices would be decreased this summer again.
The price for monthly unlimited package of 1Mbut/h internet is from 60 to 165 manats.
