Baku to launch remote vehicle diagnostics service

The remote vehicle diagnostics service CarDoctor may be launched at the end of the first quarter of this year, head of the project Azer Aliyev told Trend.

Aliyev said that currently, the final stage of improvement of CarDoctor user devices is underway, which will undergo some changes.

The devices to be offered to consumers will allow to independently diagnosing a car by connecting to a centralized system via the internet. The information about the malfunction of the car will be sent to the owner of the car via SMS and e-mail.

The service was first tested at SOCAR’s filling station. CarDoctor stationary terminal, which allows the owner of the car to independently diagnose the vehicle, was installed at the filling station.

The device is visually similar to the payment terminal. The information about a malfunction is printed out in the form of a check and is given to the owner of the car.
