BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Turkmenistan has published data on the volume of receipts from insurance contributions in the Lebap region from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

During the specified period, receipts from insurance contributions in the region amounted to 6.1 million Turkmen manats ($1.7 million), which is 9.6 percent more than in the first half of 2021.

The main part of the receipts (59.9 percent) came from contributions from compulsory insurance.

Furthermore, contributions for voluntary property insurance in the region increased by 26.8 percent, for voluntary life insurance - by 8.7 percent, and for compulsory insurance - by 3.7 percent compared to the first half of 2021.

In general, the country's financial sector is constantly expanding. In particular, mobile applications are being introduced to pay for various services and goods, the number of non-cash payments is increasing, and payment for goods and services is being implemented through bank terminals.
