Press Control Commission of the Iran Ministry of Cultural and Islamic Orientation made a decision on Nov. 2 to close "Sarmaye" newspaper, IRNA news agency reported.
The newspaper was closed because of the repeatedly violation of article 9 of Law on Press in accordance with item 13 of article 11 of the law.
The editor-in-chief of newspaper is Huseyn Abda Tabrizi. Formerly "Sarmaye" has repeatedly received written notification from Press Control Commission.
