Expert consultations of the European "three" and the international "six" (permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) on the Iranian nuclear issue are being held today and will continue on Tuesday in Vienna, the EU delegation to international organizations in Vienna approved this information to RIA Novosti.

"The consultations of the "three" and "six" on Iran are really being held in Vienna and partially here (in the delegation's office) and partially in the UN department," a representative of the delegation told RIA Novosti. However, no results or statements are planned to be released to the press, she stressed.

Another round of talks between Iran and the IAEA was completed on Tuesday in Vienna. During these talks, Iran presented new proposals for normalization of relations with the international organization. it was declared that the next round of talks will take place on November 11 in Tehran. At the same time, a diplomatic source close to the talks reported that the philosophy of a "step-by-step approach on the basis of reciprocity" prevailed during the negotiations. Under this formulation, it is usually understood that the gradual moderation of sanctions against Iran in exchange of more openness of Iran's nuclear program.

The previous meeting of the "six" on Iran at a political level took place on October 15-16 in Geneva and was mentioned as a progress of the negotiation process. The next meeting of the "six" at the level of political directors is scheduled for November 7-8 in Geneva.
