The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) has for the first time sold its Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK) at Iran’s Energy Exchange.
Amir Vakilzadeh, the head of exports and imports office at the NIOPDC, said that seven billion rials (about $226,794 according to official rate on July 13) worth of ATK was traded at the international ring of Iran’s Energy Exchange July 12, SHANA news agency reported.
According to Vakilzadeh, several companies from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Armenia purchased the product.
The official added that the trades took place after the Energy Exchange launched offering four tons of NIOPDC’s ATK June 29.
The supplied ATK was produced at Iran’s Arak refinery.
