National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) completed drilling operations on more than 120 oil and gas wells in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 20, 2019), CEO of NIDC Abdollah Mousavi said, Trend reports referring to the company's website.
Mousavi noted that exploration, development and repair work has been been carried out on one, 52 and 70 wells, respectively.
Currently, 69 percent of drilling work and 60 percent of other services on the oil and gas wells are being carried out by the company itself, he said.
Total length of drilled wells reached 170,270 meters last Iranian year, Mousavi added.
According to CEO, the company employs about 15,000 people.
