Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel had a phone conversation on Monday, Turkish media reports.
The parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional issues. The operation of the United States, Great Britain and France after the use of chemical weapons by the Damascus regime was also discussed during the talks.
According to data of Russia’s Defense Ministry, the missile strike against Syria’s military and civilian infrastructures was carried out by US warplanes and naval ships in cooperation with the British and French air forces between 03:42 and 05:10 Moscow time on Saturday.
