Australian companies to assist Azerbaijan in farm animal registration system

The World Bank (WB) has attracted Australian Stewart Routledge & Associates Pan Livestock companies to render the consulting services of improving the farm animal identification and registration system in Azerbaijan.

"The contract total value amounts to $349,900," WB said.

Pan Livestock company will render the sub-consulting services.

The companies won the tender announced by the state agency on agricultural loans under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture and WB in September 2015.

The system is planned to be created as part of the project of enhancing the competitiveness of agriculture.

The services of such companies as Agriconsulting Europe SA (Belgium), a joint venture of ADT Projekt GmbH and Unternehmensberatung Dr. Karb GmbH (Germany), a joint venture of IFUA Horvath and Partners Kft., National Food Chain Safety Office of Hungary and AAM Consulting (Hungary) were considered as part of the tender.

Australian Stewart Routledge consulting company is based in Dubai (UAE). It has been rendering its services since 1978. Its activity covers such areas as agriculture, food security, rural development, etc. Among the clients of the company are the European Commission, the Asian Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, etc.

PAN-Livestock consulting company has been operating since 1980. It specializes in rendering the consulting services for the domestic livestock development. The company's office is based in the UK.
