Almaty will host the second conference "Industrial Safety in the FEC" titled "Oil spills at sea and on land" on February 14-15, the organizing committee of the event said.
The conference will discuss the problems of coordination during oil spill response with government agencies, line ministries and heads of the leading vertically integrated companies. Presentations on the latest technology and the prevention of oil spills at sea and on land will also be made within the conference.
In addition, an exhibition of technology, where the developers of equipment and technology will be able to demonstrate their utility services to leading oil and gas companies in the region will be held in the framework of the conference.
The head of Department of Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mirsalam Ganbarov, representative of Ecology Department of SOCAR Elnur Alizadeh, president of Azerbaijan National Center for Ecological Forecasting Telman Zeynalov are among speakers that will deliver speeches during the conference.
