On 14 December, AAC company guided a tour for 20 third-year students of the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University, at the factory of modern building materials. During the tour, students learned about the characteristics of aerated concrete blocks under the gobustone brand, as well as modern technologies of production units.
Excursion for students was held by deputy director of the production, Niaz Abdullayev. He spoke about the company and invited all to walk through the factory, where students would be able to see the production of the cellular concrete blocks "gobustone".
Produced by German equipment "Wehrhahn", aerated concrete blocks gobustone are Areted concrete, is differ from other materials with durability, lightness, heat and frost resistance, environmental cleanliness. It is also easy to process with usual hand or power tool .
Aerated concrete products used in the construction of low-rise buildings, exterior and interior walls, ceilings, and even steps. Currently, aerated concrete blocks "gobustone" are using in the construction of facilities such as Port Baku Residence və Tower, Trade Center 28 Mall, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, National Gymnastics Arena, Trump Tower, an office building of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), summer and winter tourist center "Shahdag" in Kusary area and leisure center "Galalty" in Shabran and Rixos Hotel in Guba.
According to a university lecturer Ilgar Aliyev, who accompanied the students, it was a brilliant tour, very informative and conducted in a professional manner. He noted that for the first time, students had the opportunity to visit such a modern factory, and stressed the importance of such activities in the future.
After the tour, AAC specialists, demonstrated masonry walls from the aerated concrete blocks. During the laying, students acquainted with the characteristics of modern building blocks "gobustone" and compared them with traditional building materials.
Farhad Ganizade, AAC engineer, said that it was a wonderful opportunity to transfer existing knowledge to future builders. "It is very important to know that aerated concrete blocks - is not just a modern building material. This is an eco-friendly product that is produced by German technology, guarantees the user a high level of comfort. "
AAC company continues implementing of the activitied for the students and graduates, who can apply the theoretical knowledge gained in the course of study at the university, in a real working environment. For example, this year students of the Azerbaijan Technical and Architectural University participaited at the AAC internship programme and received training in the workplace.
Modern building materials factory AAC is located in the Sangachal Garadagh district of Baku. The annual production capacity of the plant is 180 thousand cubic meters / aerated concrete blocks and 30 thousand tonn limes. Modern building materials plant "AAC" is part of "SYNERGY GROUP".
