The spokesman of Disaster and Emergency Medical Management Center of East Azarbaijan province, Habib Hosseinggholizadeh said that two people have been injured as a result of the quake, IRNA reported.
However, there are no dead thus far, he said.
According to the report, earthquake occured at 9:43 (local time) in the morning.

The earthquake was 15 km in depth, and was felt in the capital of Iranian East Azarbaijan province, the city of Tabriz.
