Iran deputy FM reiterates Tehran’s support for Gaza

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has traveled to the Lebanese capital Beirut to meet with the country’s high-ranking officials and discuss regional issues. During his visit, Amir-Abdollahian reiterated Iran’s support for the people of Gaza, Press TV reported.

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has traveled to the Lebanese capital Beirut to meet with the country's high-ranking officials and discuss regional issues. During his visit, Amir-Abdollahian reiterated Iran's support for the people of Gaza, Press TV reported.

Amir-Abdollahian also referred to the crisis in Iraq, saying the ISIL militant group is an Israeli product. Meanwhile, Palestinian factions have once again thanked Iran for its unwavering support for Gaza, saying Tehran's backing has made the resistance strong enough to stand up to Israel. Ties between Iran and Lebanon plus the regional developments particularly the Israeli war on Gaza as well as fighting terrorism were all top on the agenda. The Iranian official reiterated the Islamic Republic's support for the resistance both in the Palestinian territories and in the region, adding that Tehran will make every effort to help stop the Israeli aggression against Gazans.
