Iranian President Hassan Rouhani went to work by subway on Jan.19, Iran's Fars news agency reported.
On the occasion of the National Clean Air Day in Iran, the president used subway as one of the types of environmentally friendly public transport.
On the way from 'Azadi' metro station to 'Emam Ali' metro station, Rouhani had a conversation with the passengers and listened to their concerns.
Masuma Ibtikar, vice-president and head of the country's Environment Protection Organization accompanied the president.
Other Iranian officials also used public transport on this day.
