Combine was undermined in the territory between Azerbaijani Agdam and Khojavend regions.

"Combine broke as a result of accident near Pishikli valley. But residents of Agjabedi region driver Joshgun Gukjamayev Eyvaz oglu, 26, and his assistant Babayev Zaur Shafa oglu, 35, were slightly injured," the national agency for mine action (ANAMA) told Trend on July 16.

Over 10 accidents connected with mines and unexploded armaments were fixed within 6 months of 2009. Roughly 15 people, including two soldiers and 13 civilians died as a result of these accidents. Accidents took place in Biladjari, Fizuli, Agdam, Agstafa, Geygel and Hojavand regions.

The message said that mine actions continue in these territories.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan lost all of Nagorno-Karabakh except for Shusha and Khojali in December 1991. In 1992-93, Armenian armed forces occupied Shusha, Khojali and 7 districts surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Russia, France, and the U.S. - are currently holding the peace negotiations.
