The Tbilisi City Council passed Former summer residence of the opposition leader of "the Democratic Movement - United Georgia" Nino Burjanadze to the Tskhnetski private art school No. 29.

The former owners of the cottage claim that the City Hall transferred the facility without drafting the relevant act, but the Tbilisi administration believes that since there were not any movable property at the cottage, it was unnecessary to compile such an act.

Nino Burjanadze took her moveable things from the cottage before putting it to the auction. The ex-speaker of the Parliament received the cottage as a gift from Mikhail Saakashvili after the resignation, and paid for it a symbolic amount - 1 GEL.

However, as Burjanadze refused to pay tax for the summer cottage, the court decided to took away this cottage and pass to the state ownership.
