Dissident Russian journalist Valeria Novodvorskaya and former State Duma member Konstantin Borovoy arrived in Tbilisi.

They said at the airport that their visit will support the Georgian people and the country's leadership.

Borovoy and Novodvorskaya will talk about the situation in Russia and Georgia during a lecture at Tbilisi University.

Novodvorskaya said that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is the most progressive leader in the post-Soviet space. According to her, the opposition prepares new actions in Moscow, demanding the withdrawal of Russian troops from Georgia.

"We will try to do this by all means and hold actions in Moscow, Sukhumi and Tskhinvali," Novodvorskaya said.

Novodvorskaya and Borovoy will work on a program for Russia's First Channel.
