The EU's new program will assist the governments of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in the implementation of border management system, which will make them both open and safe.

Program's budget hits 6.3 million euros. The UN Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the International Centre for Migration Policy (ICMPD) will implement this program.

Official opening of the program will be held at a conference in Tbilisi March 29. Representatives of the Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani governments, international organizations and the EU member-countries will attend it.

The conference will be held at the hotel "Courtyard Marriott" at 11:00 a.m. Deputy head of the UN Development Program mission in Georgia Inita Paulovich, director of projects, representative of the EU mission in Georgia Martin Klauke, director of the International Centre for Migration Policy Martin Pluim, Georgia's Deputy Interior Minister Ekaterina Zguladze, Georgia's Deputy Finance Minister Irakli Siradze, Head of Border Police Zaza Gogava and other officials will attend it.
