Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Astana April 7, the Ukrainian Embassy in Kazakhstan told Trend.
It was reported that the Kazakh side delivered an invitation to President Viktor Yanukovych to visit Kazakhstan during the recent visit of the OSCE chairman, Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev to Kiev March 31.
In his turn, the Ukrainian president delivered an invitation to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Kiev. In his view, the current state of trade and economic cooperation does not meet the existing potential. "We concern about decline in mutual trade," Viktor Yanukovych said during a meeting with Kanat Saudabayev last Wednesday.
Secretary of State - Kazakh Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev expressed his confidence that the forthcoming meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and Kazakhstan will give impetus to development of bilateral cooperation in all fields
