The Central Election Commission (CEC) jointly with the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe has launched today courses for trainers of electoral districts.

The CEC secretary Natig Mammadov said that trainings are attended by two people from each electoral district. The daily courses that are launched today, will involve 50 people, and in general they will cover 250 people in five days.

The head of the Council of Europe's Baku office, Veronika Kotek stressed importance of trainings carried out within the cooperation of the Council of Europe with Azerbaijan.

Participants will take courses on preparation of training sessions, organizing presentations. Along with the CEC's trainers, also experts from the Venice Commission are involved in holding of courses.

Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for Nov.7, 2010.
