The Azadlig block leaders started on 5 October meetings with electors in the western regions. The oppositionists visited first the Kazakh region, where they met with the electors on 12.00 p.m., Trend reports.
The chairman of the Musavat party Isa Gambar, the chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), reformists, Ali Kerimli and other block’s candidates took part in the meetings. As the first deputy chairman of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan Sardar Djalaloglu is in Europe now, he is replaced by another party’s functionary Nureddin Ismaylov.
The opposition leaders called on the electors to the active fight for free, democratic, fair elections without fraud.
After the meeting in Kazakh region, the block’s leaders headed to Agstafa.
Approximately at 14.00 p.m. meetings with the Agstafa electors began. At 17.00 p.m. meetings with the electors of Tovuz region are planned.
On 6 October the leaders of the Azadlig block will hold a meeting with the locals of the Kedabek region, at 14.00 p.m. вЂ" in Shamkir.
