Artur Rasizade, the Azerbaijani Primer, invited his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Nazif to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, the Egyptian embassy in Baku told Trend. Rasizade handed over the invitation to Yusif Ahmad Al Sharkavi, the Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
The head of the Azerbaijani government voiced readiness for reception of the Egyptian Primer at any time.
In his turn, the Egyptian Ambassador handed over the letter by Ahmad Nazif to the Azerbaijani Primer, expressing the Egyptian governments intention to expand trade and economic relations with Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador said that Egyptian businessmen were interested in development of the cooperation with Azerbaijan in the pharmaceutical product export to the country, as well as investment in this sphere. Besides, Egypt is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in textile and cotton-growing.
