In January to November 2006 the GDP calculated through the consumption method comprised 12,769,5mln manats, or 21.8% down as compared to the GDP ratio calculated by the State Statistics Committee through the production method.
Drop was observed in the special weight of investment consumption in the total amount of aggregate consumption from 44% January to November 2005 to 40.9% in January to November 2006.
Special weight of aggregate consumption demand fell from 47.3% in the first half of 2005 to 44.2% in January вЂ" November 2006.
Public consumption grew both in absolute and relative prices. The expenses for purchase of goods and services rose by 66.86% as compared to 2005, while the special weight grew from 5.8% to 8.05% in the structure of consumption
In January to November local production failed to cover domestic demand, while import covered the considerable part of demand. As to foreign demand on local export product it remains to be high, while the export sector speeds up.
The special weight of export in GDP dropped from 2.9% in January to November 2005 to 6.8% in January to November of 2006.
