Musavat Party to Rally
Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend I.Alizade / On 29 April Musavat Party will hold a rally. Arif Hajily, Head of Party's Apparat [Administration], said that this week they are going to appeal to the Baku City Executive Power for sanctioning the actions.
"We want to start the action from Azi Aslanov metro station and end it at Ukraine Square," Hajily informed.
The protestors will show placards related to social problems.
Speaking on the commencement of the preparations for the action Hajily also noted that though Musavat is an organizer of the action, other parties will join the rally.
Opposition party Musavat was founded in 1992. Isa Gambar, the present Chairman of the Party was the Ex-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) in 1992-1993 and a candidate of the 2003 Presidential elections held in the country. Five MPs represent the Party in the Azerbaijan Parliament.
