BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Iran's Bushehr Petrochemical Company's exports in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) increased by 18 percent compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), executive director of Bushehr Petrochemical Company of Iran, Javad Hatami said, Trend reports.
According to him, exports of products from Bushehr Petrochemical Company last year amounted to $510 million.
Hatami noted that the company's total sales amounted to $598 million last year.
The official emphasized that the company's annual production potential is about 9.25 million tons. Some of this product is sent as raw material for the production of other products to different plants of the company, and some of it is exported as a final product.
To note, Iran's petrochemical production potential will exceed 100 million tons in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024 through March 20, 2025).
Meanwhile, last year, Iran produced about 75 million tons of petrochemical products.
