BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. A total of 15 manufacturing enterprises were restored to operation in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) in Iran's Zanjan province, located in the west of the country, chairman of the Industrial, Mining, and Trade Organization of Iran's Zanjan Province Majid Golshani said, Trend reports.
According to him, 73 trillion rials (about $1.74 billion) have been spent on the restoration of these enterprises.
Golshani added that 1,825 people have been provided with jobs through the rehabilitation of production enterprises.
The official stated that the main problems of these enterprises are related to liquidity, bank debt, and raw material supply.
He emphasized that, in addition, seven mining enterprises have been rehabilitated in the province. About 197 billion rials (about $4.69 million) have been spent on these entities.
Besides, following the restoration of the enterprises' activities, 55 people were provided with jobs.
To note, 1,200 enterprises operate in Iran's Zanjan Province. Various types of products are exported from this province to 46 countries around the world.
