Details of Crime Committed in Lankaran in 2006 Revealed

Azerbaijan, Lankaran / corr. Trend P.Aliyeva / The Lankaran regional Prosecutor revealed details of a crime committed in the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan in 2006.

On 16 March 2006 at 2am, unknown persons came to the house of Kalbiyeva Madina Shahsuvargizi 80, and her granddaughter Sevinch Shukurova 26, in the village of Shaglakuka in the region of Lankaran and tied their hands and mouths and stole 74 vouchers. Madina died as a result.

The criminals were arrested as a result of an investigation held by the police and the Prosecutor of the region of Lankaran.

The crime was committed by Siyavush Agayev, a resident of the region of Lankaran and Ramil Mammadov, his son-in-law, who lived in the village of Verovul, but the initiator of the crime was Gasimova Aybaniz Gazanfargizi, 38.

A case has been filed in compliance with Article 120.1 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The investigation is ongoing.
