Azerbaijan, Baku, November 14/ Trend , corr P. Aliyeva/ Association of Football Federation of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has launched an investigation into falsification of documents of players of about 15 football teams, secretary general of AFFA Elkhan Mammadov said to journalists during Ball Festival in Lankaran.
President of AFFA Rovnag Abdullayev has instructed to set up a commission to investigate documents of footballers falsifying their age. Footballers falsifying their age and their coaches will be punished by AFFA.
As to imposing a limit to foreign footballers performing in Azerbaijan's Premier League, Mammadov said it is Executive Committee that deals with this issue.
Ball Festival held in Lankaran broke a record. The Festival in Lankaran involving 320 young footballers outnumbered the festivals in Baku and Ganja which involved 170 and 270 respectively.
The youngest participant of Ball Festival in Lankaran was six-years-old.
