The European Court will consider IDP's appeals against Armenia.
The correspondence between the Azerbaijani government and European Court on cases of the IDP's appeal, as well as on IDP from the Lachin region Chiragov's appeal have been finalized, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Azerbaijani government to the European Court told Chingiz Asgarov told Trend .
The European Court decided to consider the appeal at the Supreme Chamber.
The Azerbaijani report on the appeal by IDP Chiragov from the Lachin region of Azerbaijan and the other five people, who became the displaced persons from the territories occupied by the Armenian Armed Forces, was submitted to the European Court.
The cases of Chiragov and the other five people will be a pilot after consideration by the European Court, but later on the others will also be considered equally, Asgarov added.
The appeal by the displaced persons includes claims on the violation of their rights and demands compensation.
Lachin region of Azerbaijan was occupied on 17 May 1992. As a result of occupation, 67,000 residents of the Lachin region became displaced persons.
So far, the European court has passed 21 resolutions on Azerbaijan.
