Azerbaijani judge candidates passed two-week training in Turkey, the Azerbaijani Judicial Legal Council said.

Major attention was paid to the study of Turkish experience in the formation of administrative justice, including the establishment of administrative courts, as it is expected to create similar courts in Azerbaijan in 2010.

Training centered on the introduction of precedents of the European Convention on Human Rights and the European Court, judges' professional ethics, the use of modern information and communication technology in judicial activity.

Azerbaijani candidates passed training in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, in the Presidential Administration, the Constitutional Court, and met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court Hasan Gercheker during the training.
