Baku Education Information Center (BEIC) and the U.S. Educational Group (USEG) will organize the American Educational Fair in Baku.
The fair, whose purpose is to inform about educational opportunities in the United States, will be held March 30, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan reported.
The event will be attended by representatives of leading U.S. universities, which will provide detailed information on educational programs and activities of these institutions.
"The American universities offer good opportunities for teaching young Azerbaijanis in the U.S.. The leading U.S. universities invite Azerbaijani students to their universities. There is a trend of development in this area. In 2009, the number of Azerbaijani students wishing to study at U.S. universities has increased by 14 percent," Donald Lu, Charge d'affaires of the U.S. Embassy said.
