Azerbaijani Day will be held in Belgium in September 2006, the President of the Belgium-Azerbaijan House, Bulent Gurjan, told Trend.
For over 2 years the Belgium-Azerbaijan House has been working over a big project. In accordance with the project, the Azerbaijani days will be held in Belgium. The State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis residing abroad has been informed about the project.
We plan to hold the Azerbaijani days in Belgium over three days. It is planned to install hipped roofs in one of the central parks of Brussels. There will be organized events propagandizing the Azerbaijani culture, arts and folk under these hipped roofs. It will enable the resident of this country to get closely familiar with Azerbaijani arts and music. This is a huge project, but we will resolve all problems linked with the financing, Gurjan stressed.
