BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. The nominal income of Azerbaijan's population increased from January through March 2023, Trend reports citing the preliminary data of State Statistics Committee.
According to the data, this figure amounted to 18.4 billion manat ($10.8 billion), up by 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 million) or 15.2 percent on annual basis.
In the first quarter of this year, income per capita increased by 230.3 manat ($135.4) or 14.45 percent in Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the growth rate of the population's income following all compulsory and voluntary payments totaled 15.27 percent or 2.16 billion manat ($1.27 billion) compared to the same period in 2022. Meantime, per capita income rose by 14.54 percent or 204.7 manat ($120.4).

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population in 2022 increased by 20.5 percent, or 11.7 billion manat ($6.8 billion) compared to 2021, and reached 68.9 billion manat ($40.5 billion). During this period, income per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent, or 1,134 manat ($667).
