BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. The number of ATMs in Azerbaijan as of November 30, 2023, amounted to 3,114 units (2.27 percent growth compared to the figure at the end of 2022), Trend reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
At the end of November 2023, there were 1,621 ATMs in Baku (2.21 percent growth) and 1,493 in regions (2.33 percent growth).
The number of POS terminals installed in commerce and service facilities in Azerbaijan reached 83,428 (a 7.46 percent increase from the end of 2022). There are 55,802 in Baku and 27,626 in other towns and districts throughout the country.
Retail trade facilities have 80,667 thousand POS terminals, accounting for 96.69 percent of all POS terminals.
At the end of 2022, there were 3,068 ATMs in Azerbaijan, of which 1,591 were in Baku and 1,477 in the regions of the country. The number of POS terminals at the end of 2022 amounted to 77,551 units.
