Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Enterprises and organizations invested AZN 5.138.5mln in the economy of Azerbaijan from January to October of 2007 or an increase of 16.6% from the investments in the major capital in the same period of last year. The State Statistics Committee reported that investments in major capital made up AZN 2.842.8mln (55.3% of all investments) and state property AZN 2.295.7mln (44.7%).
The investments in renovations and construction rose by 23.3% and made up AZN 2.726mln.
AZN 4.116.4mln (80.1%) have been invested in the production facilities and AZN 1.022.1mln (19.9%) - non-production facilities.
Special weight of foreign investments made up 44.2%. Internal investments comprised 55.8% which is an increase of 52.3%.
A total of AZN 1.153.3mln was spent on the construction of facilities financed by budget funds, which comprises of 59.8% of the total funds allocated in this respect.
Major sources of investing were funds of enterprises - AZN 3.286.5 (64%), banking credits - AZN 1.773mln (3.4%), budget funds - AZN 1.238.5mln (24.1%), non-budgetary funds AZN 2.544mln (5%), community funds - AZN 162.7mln (3.2%) and others AZN 19.1 (0.3%).
