President Nazarbayev, who is currently paying a state visit to Turkey after an interval of 8 years, attended the Turkey-Kazakhstan Business & Investment Forum.

He invited Turkish firms to invest in Kazakhstan. "We are ready to provide Turkish businessmen with all necessary opportunities," he said.

"We also need to further improve our cultural and historical relations. We need to establish the Turkish world Academy as well as Turkish World Museum and Library," he said.

Referring to the Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline, President Nazarbayev said, "The pipeline will transport only Kazakh oil. Currently, Kazakhstan's oil production is 70 million tons. We will add some 25 million tons of oil to this amount."
