A delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) visited the International seaport of Turkmenbashi today, the Altin Asyr national television channel reported.
The channel said the EBRD experts discussed sea and river transport, as well as how to modernize the seaport and improve its material equipment.
The delegation also discussed the construction of a port container terminal, a dry and general cargo terminal with digital-order processing, a ship repair and building complex, a passenger terminal with a bus station and a port dispatcher service control tower.
The guests also reviewed plans to reconstruct the existing ferry terminal in phases and to improve the polypropylene transshipment cargo complex.
