A total area of residential buildings put into operation in Azerbaijan in January-October amounted to 1,371 million square meters, or 33.3 percent more than the same period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
Some 3.589 billion manat was invested in the construction of production facilities, or 31.3 percent more than in January-October 2009, 3.468 billion manat - in the construction of facilities in the service sector or 1.6 percent more than during the same period of last year.
The total investments in main capital during this period amounted to 7.057 billion manat or 14.8 percent more per year. The costs for building and construction work amounted to 4.591 billion manat, or 6.8 percent more than in the first ten months of 2009.
