Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated that he passed the Treaty of the Eurasian Economic Committee with Belarus and Kazakhstan for ratification in the State Duma, Itar-Tass reported.
This document is seeking to create the Common Economic Space for further integration of
three neighbouring countries.
At a meeting with the leaders of Belarus and Kazakhstan Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev Medvedev signed a letter for State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov with the proposal to ratify the just signed Treaty of the Eurasian Economic Committee.
After the Kremlin negotiations Medvedev, Lukashenko and Nazarbayev signed the Declaration of Eurasian Economic Integration, the Treaty of the Eurasian Economic Committee and the Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Committee.
