The number of tourists who arrived in Turkey in January 2012 has increased by 0.6 percent compared to 2011 to 981,611 people, the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry said on Friday.
Last month, the majority of tourists came from Germany to Turkey - 113,055 people, Georgia - 96,978 people, and Iran - 84,531 people.
The number of tourists from Azerbaijan in January 2012 increased by 1.2 percent to 34,485 people.
