The National Depository Centre (NDC) of Azerbaijan wishes to inform its customers of a change in account numbers for AZ95IBAZ38060019449319509204.
This is stated in a statement released by the NDC on Thursday.
This change is due to the application of IBAN (International Bank Account Number) to the bank account number in Azerbaijan. The new number entered into force on January 7. Other bank details of NDC remain unchanged:

In accordance with the decision of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) dating September 2012, the IBAN account structure is applied to any bank and customer accounts in interbank settlements.
IBAN is the bank account number composed in accordance with ISO 13616, adopted by the European Committee for Banking Standards (ECBS) and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and issued by financial institutions to their customers.
The main objectives in applying the IBAN are to improve the process of identification of bank customers in the field of electronic payments, increase of the automation level in processing payments and the elimination of fragmentation in the structure of currently used bank accounts.
