Turkmenistan announces tender for construction of water treatment facility

The Ministry of Water Resources of Turkmenistan has announced an international tender for design and construction of a complex of water treatment plants for seawater desalination in the village of Kiyanly of the Balkan velayat (region) with capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day to supply water Turkmenbashi and the national tourism zone Avaza.

The Ministry of Water Resources of Turkmenistan has announced an international tender for design and construction of a complex of water treatment plants for seawater desalination in the village of Kiyanly of the Balkan velayat (region) with capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day to supply water Turkmenbashi and the national tourism zone Avaza.

The complex of water treatment facilities for seawater desalination with capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day to supply water to Turkmenbashi and national tourism zone Avaza includes:

1. A plant for seawater desalination with capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day.

2. A 110/10-10 kV substation under scheme No. 110-4H with 110 kV and 110 kV transmission lines.

3. Two pump stations and pressure pipelines supplying desalinated sea water from the sea water desalination plant to clean water reserve tanks in Turkmenbashi and national tourism zone Avaza.

4. Clean water tanks in Turkmenbashi and national tourism zone Avaza.

Domestic and foreign companies, firms, organizations and businesses interested in participating in the tender should submit their proposals to the Ministry of Water Resources of Turkmenistan at the following address:
