The number of registered companies with an Azerbaijani capital in Turkey made up 159 during 2018, which is 3.3 times higher than the previous year’s data, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend on Friday.
There were 48 companies with an Azerbaijani capital registered in Turkey in December 2017.
The total capital of companies with an Azerbaijani capital which were registered in Turkey during the last year also increased threefold as compared to December of 2017 - from 17.5 million TL to 53.8 million.
Around 6,400 companies and cooperatives were registered in Turkey last December, which is by 9.41 percent less as compared to December 2017. Some 85,200 companies and cooperatives were registered in Turkey in 2018.
