Azerbaijan’s Ganja machine industry plant is considering the possibility of expanding export of its products, deputy director of the plant Yusif Pashazade told Trend on Feb. 15.

“The post-Soviet countries may become new sales markets,” he said.

“Presently, our products are exported to Russia, Georgia and Kazakhstan,” Pashazade said. “These are the main sales markets and in the future we plan to export products to other countries of the former Soviet Union. So far, there is no need to talk about export of products to Europe, so we will continue to explore the markets of the post-Soviet countries.”

“The plant intends to expand the production,” he added.

"Today, the plant works almost at full capacity,” Pashazade said. “Of course, we think about increasing production capacity. Presently, all workshops of the plant are involved in the technological process, 160 people work at the plant."

He stressed that the plant is one of the most important plants in the field of machine industry. The plant is engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems that are in demand in the market both within the country and abroad.
