A new enterprise was opened in Shida Kartli region of Georgia, with the support of the Rural Development Agency, Trend reports via Georgian media.
A combined food enterprise was established with the financial support of the state in Kareli municipality.
Agrovita Food and Technology Ltd is equipped with modern standards and a total of 570,000 lari ($172,256) is invested in the enterprise, including 228,000 lari ($68,902) is co-financed by the Rural Development Agency, 285,600 lari ($86,309) is preferential agro-credit. The plant can produce 1,600 tons of combined feed. The products are sold on the local market. The enterprise employs 15 locals.
According to the State Representative of Shida Kartli Region, Mamuka Saghareishvili, the establishment of new enterprises in the region is important for the creation of additional new jobs and economic strengthening of the region.
Some 30 new enterprises are opened in Shida Kartli region with the support of the Rural Development Agency.
