The first international scientific and practical conference В"Genetic Resources of BiodiversityВ" took place in Baku. Officials of Agriculture Ministry told Trend this conference hosted experts of scientific research institutes working in the sphere of farming, vegetable-growing, cotton-growing, viticulture and so, as well as representatives of some international organizations.
Zakir Halikulov, representative of International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), performed at the conference with the speech on the situation in Middle Asia and South Caucasus.
At the conference also performed head of scientific-agrarian center with Agriculture Ministry Asad Musayev and other experts of scientific-research institutes.
