Bank Respublika Goes On

Yesterday afternoon, Bank Respublika received an anonymous call that an explosive has been placed in the head office of the Commercial Bank located in 21, Khagani St. The alarm sounded in the office of the Bank, and the employees were evacuated to the Sahil Park opposite to the Bank, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Bank.

With the aim to guarantee safety of its clients and employees who were in the head office of the Bank, the Board of the Bank gave a commission on intermediate evacuation. The Emergency Situations Ministry, as well as the corresponding law enforcement bodies was informed about the incoming anonymous call as well.

All those who were in the Bank office were evacuated within a few minutes. In order to avoid panic, just rescue trainings were announced to be the reason of the evacuation.

Employees and the officers of the Emergency Situation Ministry held an examination of all the premises of the Bank. As a result of the examination with the involvement of special trained dogs, no explosion assembly was found in the office of Bank of Respublika.

At 17:30 p. m. on December 15, the head office of the Bank resumed its work. All its employees returned to their work places. The other 14 branches of the Bank worked all that time without any interruption

The corresponding state bodies are continuing an investigation on the fact.
